Help & FAQ
How does a dog get the Verified pill?
On your dog page, open Verify this dog and upload a front, side and face photo, a 10 to 60 second video (MP4, MOV or WebM) and ABKC, UKC, AKC or ADBA papers. Staff check that the name and number on the papers match the dog and that the photos and video match its markings. Uploads stay private to you and staff, and photo location data is removed. Status shows Not submitted, Pending review, Verified or Rejected.
How do I share a dog or kennel?
Public dog pages and kennel pages have Share, Copy link, Facebook, X and Text message buttons. The link stays the same even if the name changes. Previews show only public details: never your contact info. Private and unlisted dogs can't be shared.
What does the profile bot write, and is it published automatically?
On your kennel page, choose Draft my profile with the profile bot. Answer a few questions and it drafts a bio, a tagline, a short write-up for each of your public dogs and a section order, using only your answers and the records on VictoriousPed. It never adds titles, awards or verification that aren't on record, and unverified dogs stay labeled. Nothing goes live until you edit the draft, tick that you reviewed it and publish. You can make 5 drafts an hour.
Is VictoriousPed a registry?
No. We're an independent pedigree database and community. We aren't affiliated with or endorsed by ABKC, UKC, AKC, ADBA or any other registry. Official papers always come from your registry.
What do the badges mean?
Each badge says only what we checked. 🪪 ID Verified: the owner's government ID was verified. 📜 Papers Reviewed: we confirmed the registration number, and the badge names the registry and method. 🧬 DNA / Health Tested: the owner uploaded a lab certificate, and the badge names the lab and test.
How do I add my dog's pedigree?
Sign up, add the dog's registered name and registration number, then link the sire and dam. You can request a Papers Reviewed badge from the dog page.
How do I become a verified breeder?
Go to Breeder verification. Finish the identity check, then upload your ABKC, UKC, AKC or ADBA papers. Our staff review them by hand. Only verified breeders can post litter and puppy listings. The badge names the registry and date, and it doesn't mean the registry endorses you.
Where do the ABKC show dates come from?
Our staff copy them by hand from the official ABKC calendar. Each show links back to ABKC and shows when we last checked it. Starter entries are labeled Example data. Always confirm with ABKC before you travel. We aren't affiliated with ABKC.
What does Verified mean on a transporter?
Our staff confirmed the transporter's ID and a USDA APHIS or FMCSA record. It is not a license or a certification. Phone numbers and emails are masked, so please contact transporters through VictoriousPed chat.
How do I search pedigrees and read the tree?
On Pedigrees, search by dog name, registration number or kennel. On a dog page, the tree reads left to right. Cyan lines lead to sires and magenta lines lead to dams. A grey Unverified tag means the lineage has not been checked against registry papers.
How does the breeder feed work?
Open Feed to see photo posts. Sign in to post a photo with a caption, follow kennels, like and comment. The Verified pill shows only for staff-verified breeders. Use Report on any post or comment, and our moderators review it.
What is on a dog page, and how do I print or fix a pedigree?
Each dog page shows a photo header, a details panel (registry and number, class, color, sex, birth date, kennels, titles and views), a 4 or 5 generation chart, siblings, offspring, litters and approved public photos. Use Print pedigree for a one-page printout. If something is wrong, sign in and choose Report an error so staff can check it.
How does my kennel get a Verified profile?
Verified kennel profiles are for American Bully kennels with ABKC- or UKC-registered dogs. Go to Apply for a kennel profile. Our staff check your kennel prefix with the registry, the registration papers for every dog you list, your proof of ownership and your identity, all by hand. Your profile shows your city and state only, and buyers contact you through masked chat. Dogs are grouped by the classes the registries publish: Pocket, Standard, Classic and XL.
Why can't I send messages or comments?
Only identity-verified members can send messages, comments, listing inquiries and transporter or kennel contact requests. This keeps scammers out. Finish the identity check on your Account page. Until then you can browse, follow, like and shop.
Why was I blocked for using a VPN?
To stop scams, sign-up, verification and messaging aren't allowed from VPNs, proxies, Tor or hosting/datacenter networks. Turn off your VPN or proxy and try again. Browsing always works.
Who can see my kennel details?
On your kennel page, open Profile settings → Public visibility to choose what guests and unverified members see. Your contact links are hidden until you turn them on. Your dogs, kennel name and Verified pill always show.
Do I need an account to shop?
No. Anyone can browse the Store. Checkout asks you to sign in so your purchase lands in your Library.
How does the 24/7 litter cam work?
Kennels with an active litter cam subscription can set one up under Account › Litter cam. Point any RTMPS or WHIP encoder at the server and stream key shown when you create the cam. The key is shown only once, so copy it then. If it leaks, rotate it. Choose who can watch: everyone, verified members only, or nobody. The player appears on your kennel page and your litter and puppy listings, and shows Live or Offline. If your subscription lapses, the feed stops and the key stops working. Staff can turn off any stream that breaks the rules.
How do I avoid puppy scams?
Meet the pup in person or on live video. Never pay with gift cards, crypto, wire transfers, or payment-app "friends and family". Keep chat on the platform until you've met. Report pressure to move off-platform. We don't process payments for animals.
How do I report a post or user?
Use Report on any post, listing, profile or chat. Reports of animal cruelty or fighting are reviewed first. See the moderation policy.
Who can see my location and contact info?
Only an approximate city or state is shown. Chat is masked, so your phone and email stay private. See Privacy.
How do I contact support?
No support inbox is live yet. Use Report anywhere on the site, and a moderator will follow up.
How do I predict puppy colors?
Open the Litter color calculator or click it on a dog page. Pick the sire and dam or set their genes (E, K, A, B, D, S, M). Unknown genes are estimated from color and pedigree and labeled as estimates. Owners can add DNA results on their dog page for exact answers. You will see a warning for merle x merle (double merle risk) and a note when dilute pups could have CDA. Results are estimates only.
Can I order merch with my kennel name?
Not yet. The kennel merch designer lets you preview your kennel name on shirts, hoodies, caps, mugs and stickers, but there's no checkout and nothing is ordered. Registry names and logos (ABKC, UKC, AKC, ADBA) can't be printed.
